Rolando Gomez, founder of GarageGlamour.com, PhotographicTherapy.com and various other web communities is taking glamour photography one-step further by bringing you his “Editorial Glamour, Beauty & the Nude” and his “Editorial Nude” photography workshops to the Phoenix area (Scottsdale). It all started with his International Glamour, Beauty and the Nude photography workshops (100’s conducted the past nine years), then his Exotic Photography workshops (six per year in it’s fifth year now), Mansion shoots (several per year), then followed by his Editorial Nude photography workshops and now he’s introducing his Editorial Glamour, Beauty & the Nude photography workshops.
This workshop is the combination of the elements from all his previous workshops series. You’ll experience all genres of the model forms of photography, glamour, beauty and nude with an editorial touch to help tell stories with your images. You’ll get the swimming pool and rustic feel of a spectacular Scottsdale Tuscan mansion, over 7,000 sq. ft. This mansion provides the backdrops for amazing photos and because this is the first workshop ever done in this mansion, rest assured your images will be unique to your portfolio.

The backdrops for shooting include six master bedrooms, provsix master bedrooms suites, a lavish, oversize heated pool, heated hot tub, gorgeous hallways and exquisitely furnished surroundings in the living and dining areas plus a pool table game room and bar. This mansion provides a theater room with stadium seating that provides a great photographic area plus an area for workshop instruction for all attendees. This workshop includes a more in-depth, intimate touch of exploring new concepts found with targeted photography instruction for all levels, from beginners to advanced. You’ll flourish with flamour photography, creative and dramatic lighting for editorial nudes, use of backlighting for glamour and beauty photography while networking and making new friends in this secluded mansion environment. A great workshop were all photographers and models will benefit.
The lighting will be challenging as Gomez shows you new techniques to bring impact into the images including the more demanding forms of “backlight” to bring power to your images. He’ll show you why professional photographers use backlight in their favor and why editors love this technique. You’ll learn how “to see” the story in the image, where to place and how to pose the model. You’ll gather at the end of the day to wind down for the evening like the settings of the infamous Back to the Ranch events.
Lavish Areas for Dramatic Lighting
You’ll work with at least seven or more magnificent models. You’ll feel the warmth they create in images when you position them in both artificial and natural light. You’ll experiment with cool white-balance techniques and learn when to drag the shutter for your advantage. Bring your portfolios if you have them too, for some personal portfolio critique, though portfolios are not a requirement, you’ll walk away with images that will bring life to your updated portfolio.

We’re giving you three choices, the first selection, “COMBO” is for the Editorial, Glamour, Beauty & Nude photography workshop on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday plus you may stay for Monday’s private shooting day. (Monday is optional only for those who select the COMBO or GBN package only.) The COMBO package also includes Thursday’s very limited Editorial Nude workshop. The entire focus of the Editorial Nude workshop portion is dramatically lit editorial nudes with a slight erotic but artistic touch.
The second option in the pull-down menu below, GBN, is the Thurs.-Sunday, Editorial Glamour, Beauty and the Nude workshop only, plus the ability to participate on Monday’s private shoot day.
The third choice is Thursday’s Editorial Nude workshop only, no private shoot option on Monday and attendance will not be allowed for the Editorial Glamour, Beauty & the Nude or private shoot day.

Make-up will be provided and images maybe used in off-line, personal and web portfolios, however, you can, for an additional $60 on the GBN (Thurs-Sunday) workshop and $60 on the Editorial Nude (Thurs. Only) workshop (paid to the model by the photographer), secure an unrestricted release (except for adult pay-sites or membership sites), full use, including nudity. Releases will be provided, though optional and not mandatory but highly encouraged. Private shooting is optional on Monday for those attending the Glamour, Beauty & the Nude workshop from Fri.-Sunday and paid to the model directly by the hour for an additional fee with each model. All COMBO attendees have Monday as an optional private shoot day. We do this on the Virgin Islands workshops for the past five years with great success! The more photos you take of the same model, the better they get!
